Development Goal Settings (Admins)

Juno Journey’s empower Admins with advanced customization options, enabling better alignment with organizational priorities and strategies. This tutorial walks you through the key areas of these new capabilities.

Navigating to the Settings

  1. Log in to your Juno Journey Admin Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to My Development and click on Settings.

  3. You’ll now see various customization options available to Admins.


1. Flags Configuration

Within the Flags section, Admins can:

  • Notify Managers of Goal Creation
    Toggle this on if you want managers to be automatically informed when employees create new goals.

  • Expedite Budget Approval
    Enable this option to allow employees to request budgets for all training activities linked to a development goal before the goal is launched.

  • Mentor or Learning Buddy
    Control whether the organization offers a mentor or learning buddy for each goal by toggling this option on or off.


2. Appearance Customization

In the Appearance section:

  • Admins can personalize the My Development home screen before any goals are created.

  • This helps create a more relevant and engaging initial experience for users.


3. AI Categories Customization

When employees create development goals, Juno Journey’s AI helps narrow their focus. Admins can control these AI-generated suggestions:

  • Manage Default Categories
    Use the dropdown to toggle on or off which default AI categories are visible.

  • Add Custom Categories
    Introduce organization-specific categories, such as:

    • Customer Service

    • Time Management

    • Leadership Skills

This ensures that the AI suggestions are closely aligned with your company’s unique needs.


4. Suggested Action Items Customization

  • When creating new action items, Juno Journey’s AI will recommend steps based on your company’s strategic goals.

  • Admins can ensure these recommendations are highly relevant by configuring them to match organizational needs.


5. Company Priorities Configuration

Shape the development experience even further by defining Company Priorities:

  • Strategic Priorities
    Add high-level goals to guide employee development.

  • Skill Focus Areas
    Identify specific skills that require improvement across the organization.

  • Preferred Tools, Systems, and Methodologies
    Indicate the technologies and practices your organization favors.

These inputs will directly influence Juno Journey’s AI Goal Creator and course recommendations, ensuring deep alignment with your organization’s strategic initiatives.
